Awards
BeforeJob Employee Choice Awards
Once a year we name the companies their own employees rate highest, by size, industry and country, anywhere in the world. Only verified reviews count.
The first awards are on their way
Reviews published in 2026 decide the 2027 awards. We publish them once that year has closed and we have checked the results.

How the awards work
Verified reviews only
Every rating comes from someone we verified as a current or former employee.
Fair to every size
Companies need 30 reviews in the year to take part (15 for small and mid-sized companies), and a few glowing reviews cannot beat hundreds of strong ones.
Nothing for sale
Employers cannot pay to enter, win or move up. Claiming a page or buying a plan has no effect.
How we will pick the winners
- Only verified reviews count. Every review comes from someone we verified as a current or former employee of that company. We count the reviews published in 2026 (UTC).
- Enough reviews to be fair. A company takes part with at least 30 published reviews in that period, or 15 for small and mid-sized companies (up to 1,000 employees).
- A score that rewards consistency. Each company's score is the average of its overall ratings, after adding 20 imaginary reviews at the average of all reviews in the period. That way a few glowing reviews cannot beat hundreds of strong ones. Scores are rounded to 2 decimals, and a tie goes to the company with more reviews.
- The lists. Size lists and country lists name the top 20, industry lists the top 10. An industry only gets a list when at least 3 of its companies take part. Size is total headcount and country is where the company has its headquarters.
- Special awards. These rank the top 10 on a single rating, such as work-life balance or career growth, with the same rules. A company needs enough reviews that gave that rating.
- Employers cannot pay to enter, win or move up. Claiming a page or buying a plan has no effect on the awards.
